Hello, Do you think web designing is an art? Yes of course it is. But is it an art in the sense of traditional definition? Actually, you need to know lot of things even if you are just a web designer and not web programmer or related to any other aspect of web.
Web designing includes mainly designing web page using html editor with the help of text, graphics and if required, animation. Then programmers include web components like search engine and other applications. As a web designer you need to be sound in HTML editor like front page and Dreamweaver. You get lot of freedom with Dreamweaver and you get lot of readymade applications with front page. After HTML editor, you must be well versed with image processing software. And it’s none other than Photoshop. Photoshop is like an ocean. You simply keep on learning and it will never end.
